I had a similar incounter with truck a few years ago. Only thing was the truck was coming at me instead of being stoped in front of me. I locked both wheels and went off the pavement hit a hillside and bounced back out in the road. Thank god for helmets. I twisted the forks like you describe, went straight home started working on her and went riding late that night. I have seen so many riders wreck and not get right back on, then they just get out of it. It's that "what if" thing I think.
Well I'm glad to hear you are ok and I hope you don't wait to long or you may just forget about it all together. I understand the kids need a dad thing, mine do too, but you need a life also.
